Another awesome video, Mark! I love stuff like this. Such a beautiful area.

My wife and I visited and thought it was a beautiful area like most or rural Lumpkin County. The creek was low and the area packed with people. Lots of folks toting fishing rods but didn't see any fish caught or didn't speak to anyone who caught any. A couple said they arrived the previous week right after the hatchery truck was leaving and caught fish about every cast. In a small shallow creek like Dicks it doesn't take long for the stocked fish to get caught.

During the weekdays when school is in session there is hardly anyone there. The majority of the creek is rough terrain with people only at the access points. Dicks Creek used to be a premier fishing stream 30 years ago.
