Fat brook trout.

This is a fat brook trout I caught back in October on the Tuck DH. I try to hit several spots on the Tuck DH when it opens just to know where to take my clients. On this trip I caught three fat brook trout and one decent size brown. The brown went across the rapid where the dam used be and had a bit of my backing off the reel before I could get around it to land it. The brook pictured was colored up nice for a stock.

I really love the small wild trouts our area provides but every once in a while it’s great getting a big hoss stocker on the line.
Great job.
The tuck dh is literally where I learned to fly fish and that started my adventure into the outdoors that now includes fishing of all sorts and big game hunting. I owe it all to my future wife. Although some days I think she regrets it lol
