" Alamar". 2 x 3'. Mexican glass smalti, Italian filati and found Irish beach pebbles. From a photo taken by my friend Steve Dramstad, used with permission. Just under 450 hours of insanity.

Jollyroger, thank you for the kind words.
Online is the only option for smalti. I use glass nippers to cut and a dremel/diamond bit to dress.
Check our my friend John Sollinger to see a master of glass.
