Thanks guys. My kids and I have put in alot of time hunting that buck. I never had one daylight picture of him in all the years he has been around here. I really wanted one of my kids to get him. But there was no way I was going to let him get past us. I do have a little remorse for shooting him but the kids were all excited I giot him. It's a weird feeling after it was over. Like it isn't real. I feel truly blessed to have him but sad that the hunt for him is over.

Well guys after 41 years of hunting I finally killed a good one. I have been hunting this deer for four years and I thinks he is about 6. My youngest daughter and I went out to our blind by my house. We got out there just before 5:00 and got everything settled and I told her man it's hot and the mosquitoes are bad who probably won't see anything. I think it was about 5:50 I looked through my binoculars and saw the butt end of a deer down in the bottom headed our way and I told her to get ready. When he turned his head around the tree I saw it was him. Obviously I lost my composure. He started moving to the right of us at a pretty good pace and she could not see him and she said to go ahead and shoot him if I had the opportunity. I had already decided I wasn't going to let him get past us but I really want her to get him. But unfortunately it didn't work out that way for her. But she was excited I got him. He's a 10-point not sure how wide he is I didn't measure him but I'm going to get a European mount of him made. His tenth point is on the base of his skull under his right brow time that you can't see
Outstanding! Congrats!
