Carry my G40MOS every trip, but the right opportunity has not come yet.

Man, there's been a BUNCH of deer killed with that old school camo pattern!!

One Christmas, I got an insulated coverall in that pattern, and I already had a dove vest to match.

It was a big deal.

Thanks for bringing it back!

It is,over the last few years I been keeping it simple. Sitting on the ground in a hammock seat, shooting stick and no other gadgets. Made huntin fun again
Yep, around 1999 I was getting bored with hunting. I felt like a sentry on guard duty, if a deer came by I killed it.
I had killed deer with Longbow and Hawken and had killed two with .41 Mag Blackhawk and I really enjoyed those hunts.
I bought a Contender and have really liked it and sitting on the ground more.
If I hunt with a rifle anymore it is something different, special or unique.

.45 LC is my all time favorite for hogs and deer. Big hole lets the air in and the blood out. Easy to get a matching lever gun if you want to Cowboy Up. Reloading is the way to go with this old cartridge to make it a real thumper.
