First blood with a handgun

.45 LC is my all time favorite for hogs and deer. Big hole lets the air in and the blood out. Easy to get a matching lever gun if you want to Cowboy Up. Reloading is the way to go with this old cartridge to make it a real thumper.

I'm on the lookout for for a lever 45,hoping my trading buddy comes up with one. I wanted a 44 but my buddy wouldn't part with any because he like shooting 44 specials in em. I knew he had that 45 but didn't figure he'd get rid of it,but I'm glad he did. It's my first 45 colt but definitely not the last, can load it mild to wild.
