First Bow kill

Well, After selling the country house in Middle GA last year, I needed to pick up a bow and learn to hunt suburban Deer/Turkey. Picked up the bow back in January and been practicing steadily. Got a call last Wednesday from a buddy that wanted to know if I wanted to sit Saturday evening. Heck yea man I did. Bought my first climber stand Thursday (Summit viper SD) and claimed my first Tree for practice Friday. Went out to a spit of leased land off Winward Pkwy. Up tree at 4:20pm, drew down on doe at 25 yds at 4:30. Id say pretty decent shot for my first. Everybody does heart shots right?
I've killed lots of Deer/Turkey/pigs with a gun. Feels very, very, very cool to be a rookie again with a stick and string.

My first bow kill was a small doe. Still a great memory. Took my 3rd year bow hunting to get one. You’ll remember this one.
