I came very close to hitting one on a motorcycle going down the Florida Turnpike.
That's no fun at all.

By the time I got both wheels back under control, I had to shake my britches leg a few times. Had to be going way past the speed limit.

I was still in my 20's then. Thousand wonders and by God's Grace I didn't get killed.

Those speed bumps can be hard on the skin.

During the breeding season the bull gators like to roam.
I have seen them in places that make you wonder how the heck they got there. A lot get hit on the highways that time of year.

Hard to envision a Smokey the Bear or Cowboy hat with that ensemble.
