I know this is not hunting but our family host a fishing tournament for the handicap and the mentally challenged at our farm. Its this Saturday Oct. 22. No charge for fishing, door prizes for all anglers, we provide lunch, fishing poles and lots of hugs, high fives, and many first fish. The property is in Camden County, Georgia. I know this is short notice but wanted to put this out there to my hunting family. For more info look at www.makeadifferencefishing.org or e-mail me directly. Again completely free just show up and fish. We have at least two volunteers per kid and awards after. I will post a few pics from last year. Another way we are getting kids in the outdoors that normally do not get the chance. If you know anyone less fortunate please pass along. Thanks
Also its to late for this years tournament but if you want to get involved by volunteering your time, or donating a gift for the raffle, or just want to sponser please contact for info. We are completely 100% volunteer oriented. No salaries! Monetary donations donated from my Georgia community go directly to the Georgia tournament. This is our second year hosting. Last year we had 17 kids. This year we as of now have 42 registered! So we could use the help. Sorry for long post. Get kids involved.
