The Original Rooster
Mayor of Spring Hill
Had my first experience taking a Charter Arms Revolver apart today.
I've got an old beat up Off Duty 38 that I picked up at a pawn shop years ago. Last year I shot some really hot 38's in it killing a snake. The recoil was enough to cause the spring on the hammer that pushes the transfer bar up to pop out of place. Fortunately it wasn't difficult to take apart but it's completely different from a Smith & Wesson. I only plan to shoot standard pressure out of it going forward.
