So who all is down here this weekend? Weather is much better than those 99/100° days we had last year. Let's hope the deer are more cooperative this year.

I took my daughter and we left around 11am. All the spots I scouted were taken so we ended up in the first box we came to not taken. No deer and heard no shots. Any deer shot?

We left about 12:30 to get lunch. We hadn't heard anything and none of the camps seemed to have any deer.

It didn't. We hunted the first morning left for lunch and on the way back to the woods my transmission went out on my truck. That sunk the whole weekend and the next 3 weeks of hunting plans.
