Frangible 6.5 Grendel rounds for hogs

I haven’t but somehow think that would be a better coyote round
I'd have to agree but I remember reading that some have a more durable jacket which should allow better penetration so I'll do some research and post what I find.

Just wondering if anyone here has tried frangible 6.5 Grendel rounds on hogs.

The size of the hog will matter. Medium and small hogs, probably DRT.

A big boar, could easily be a crippled hog to run off in the woods and expire.

If you plan to recover any hogs you shoot, use a hunting bullet.

Yep, I should have been more clear. I'm thinking if trying there's out on smaller hogs and will keep the ballistic tips for larger ones.

Check the carpe sus youtube channel. He does control work on hogs with a grendel. Probably has videos on whatever round you're looking at. I know he killed a ton with the 90gr American Eagle varmint.
