Kid just can't catch a break.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State's offense was dealt a major blow Monday when coach Jimbo Fisher announced senior Chris Thompson would miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his left knee.


Thompson was Florida State's leading rusher this season and was on pace to become the first 1,000-yard back since 1996 for the Seminoles (No. 12 BCS, No. 11 Associated Press).

His ACL tear is particularly disheartening for Chris Thompson, who broke his back last season and missed the final eight games.
Thompson had totaled 687 yards rushing through seven games, and his 7.55 yards-per-carry average was third among ACC running backs.

I saw that today, kid has had enough bad luck. I truly hope somewhere down the line he finds out he is related to Bill Gates or something. Kid could use a break
