That’s the real question,covering plants is a pain,losing everything you’ve done is a big pain. I’m a little south of you and a very few degrees warmer,usually. I was sweating out my tomatoes last night,I’m leaning toward relaxing a bit tonight. Whatcha got going with that wire mesh over the bed? That's something I've never seen. Interested to hear about itSlugs have been eating all my plants, had to put some beer traps out. Seems to be working great. I’ve caught over 200 in two nights. Now to replant the cucumbers.
Some of it is netting to keep the chickens and cats out of the bed. We now have tule over the beds. Trying to be mostly organic with our veggies. Hoping to control stink bugs, cutworms and hornworms with it. Once everything starts blooming we'll have to remove it during the day for pollination.
