I have 2 DDRs from Sequoyah Shepherds in Soddy Daisy TN. It's certainly worth the drive if you're looking for a great dog. There's a lot if trash out there. I grew up with shepherds and trained a bunch. Be picky
I wish I could hit the like button in doubletaps, tripletaps.
You have a gorgeous dog.
I'm a few years away from being ready to add one.....but the time is perfect for doing research and getting dialed in.
When I was a babby-toddler we had a male GSD, Barron.
Mom said he was a tremendous guardian who only allowed people to approach my stroller after she told him it was okay. I used to ride on him and play bigtime.
I'm under 6 years away from when I am planning on retiring. I want to wait until then so I can devote the time and energy towards raising a puppy.
Ideally I'll have the first one well underway and then be able to add another a year or so into it. Two dogs have always worked out really well in our household.
Retirement and a new pair of knees to sport around on and I should be ready. Will give me time to mend up the fence in the backyard for quick trips outside to take care of bidness when nature calls.
The dogs will be wherever I am....indoors, out for a walk, fishing, etc.
Everyone has to have a dream.......this is mine....a pair of Shepherds to share the house with.
Thank you. You should see the place that Oher Tannen keeps. She's got a yard full of them that look like that. If you're a GSD fan, you're in absolute heaven when you get to her house. She loves those dogs and they love her.
We got our 2nd one from Oher Tannen a couple of weeks ago. This one is a boy for my wife. Here are pictures of his mom and dad and him at 12 weeks old. He was 28 pounds. I suspect he will reach the top end of the breed standard.
