This will be the first time ever (after 35+ years of voting) that in a general election I've had the opportunity to vote for a Republican and didn't.

Why the change? Because Trump is a disgusting human being, an incorrigible liar, an idiot, and a dangerous egomaniac. My fellow Republicans that eagerly voted for him in the primary or supported his coronation without a primary should be ashamed of themselves.

If y'all want my vote and the vote of many other reasonable, thinking, people in the future, you need to do a better job of picking candidates in the primary.
I won't automatically rubberstamp in November whatever garbage the GOP's hardcore voters offered-up earlier in the year.

I was a single issue voter until now (gun rights / 2A), but the idea that certain people should not be entrusted in positions of great power is more important this year.

ESPECIALLY when Trump does not have to worry about running for another term, and especially now that the Supreme Court has said he has immunity for any actions he takes in the role of President.
(This is the guy who said his supporters are so [blindly] loyal to him that he could shoot somebody in the middle of Times Square and get away with it.)
