I'm headed down to campout and fish on little tybee island this weekend with the GKF Crew.
This will be my 5th time there.
Has anyone been on the island lately? Or fished around tybee creek?
Many of us plan to launch on friday, set up camp on the island, then kayak fish and surf fish in the area.
I always clean up on the whiting this time of year. Then pick up a trout or two. A flounder if we're lucky.
Usually i'm fishing gulp on a jig head and a MirrOdine Twitchbait from a kayak. Then fish bites or scavenged bait on the surf.
If you fish the area, what would you recommend fishing with this time of year?
