Glock 19

Nowadays it is more cost effective to buy a new slide. That way the sight cut is finished with the rest of the slide. The set-up, cuts, and holes in the slide milling process add up to big money at shop rates from $100-150 an hour.

Buy a slide and upper parts kit, add a cool extended or threaded barrel and have two uppers ready to rock & roll.

Assembling a Glock is as fun as assembling an AR lower.

I used Maple Leaf Firearms on my Sig 365 and they did a great job.
Battlewerks did a G45 Glock for me and also did a great job.
It is very close to the cost of a slide and all the parts to go into it plus sights, cheaper in some cases.

I replaced my G19 slide with a Zaffiri precision slide and threaded barrel. It was far cheaper and my RMR mounted right up.
