Great Day Rabbit Hunting, We got 10 Rabbits

Went a few weeks ago with some friends to the mountains of NC on a rabbit hunt, we got 10 and 1 pheasant. The same place last year we got 10 as well. We stop at ten to leave some breeders. Man yall had a fine hunt ! You never get to run a rabbit around here in the open like that. The stinking coyotes have changed the game around here. If you aint arm pit deep in briars....you cant find a rabbit. That's a fine pack of beagles. I enjoyed it.

The Pheasant was a nice surprise. The only place Pheasants in NC breed and reproduce is on the Barrier Islands on the coast. That is the last place you would think they would but they do. no neighbors no where this one came from but it did act wild but likely an escapee from a preserve but one isnt close by.
