Wonder if anyone can give an opinion on Scientific Anglers GPX?

Sierra trading post has a really good deal in it.

I have one and like it- they are a little heavier than there actual weight - instead of a 5 weight (or which ever #) line they are like a 5 1/2. That helps in loading a fast action rod , or helps with shorter casts with a slower rod.

Work pretty good, IMO. Overpriced at normal price.

Appreciate the input. Going to buy some up. From my research, it’s the old version of the Mastery MPX I currently use.

Can’t pass it up at the $30 price point.

Very hard to get discounts on standard WF5F.

Yeah, I have one on my dry fly rod that I fish mostly small creeks with. The overlined weight helps some when you can't feed much line out. Mine's about shot after many years of use now, though.
