He’s on the board!

Little smoke got on the board this morning. He made 3 trees and I found 2 of them. He done one right so I knocked it out to him. It was his first at 5 1/2 months old. Anxious to see them leaves fall. Wonder what the poor folks are doing ??

Ain't nothing like a good squirrel dog, a grandson with his first gun, and plenty of hardwood bottoms to hunt in. That is heaven to me.

Yes. He is getting on out there. Here in the mountains..that is tad far for me. If I have a pup in the training stage...I like to be able to get my eyes on it and tree quick as I can. It is hard to see 75-100 yds here..much less 240 !
