They're using current Army/Air Force uniforms to save money and look like the counterparts that they will likely be working with on the ground. Hope this helps.

When you think "space force", You're likely drawn to a star wars visual of folks flyin around in millennial falcons, star destroyers, imperial shuttles and things of that nature but the reality of that is the fact that we can perform most if not all operations without even leaving mother earth.
