Heart breaker

I found this broken point in my oat plot. I think it's an old type because the hafting area has been smoothed on the end and sides. It's the only one I have like this. Anyone have an idea what the archaeologist might call it.

It appears to be an atlatl dart point the fluted base indicates that it predates the bow and arrow. The bifacial work is indicative of that as well. Nice find.

I'm guessing a Dalton point that was broken during manufacture and never finished. There is a lot of stuff like that lying in my knapping pit.
