My nephew found this in a good campsite this week . He’s found a lot of pottery and points in the same site. Said you can’t hardly step without stepping on flint . Thanks , he said he done a little research. Just wanted to see what u experts thought . Bolo stones I've seen were round with a dimple on one side...not elongated like this one is.

Nic would the maker of that spear point be from the mound period? What cultural period would that be from?
That is a Savannah River variant, from the late Archaic.
