Henry Co. GONetwork Banquet 2011

...The date has been set for the Henry County GONetwork fund-raising banquet! Our 2011 Sportsmen's Banquet will be held at the Merle Manders Conference Center on Thursday, September 22, 2011. The banquet will consist of several events, including a dinner catered by Pippin’s BBQ, door-prize give-aways, silent and verbal auctions and several raffles including 30-plus guns!

This fund-raising event will generate funds to be used on many worthwhile projects. Money from previous banquets have been used to fund the following projects: Kid's Duck Box Building Days, Archery in the Schools programs. Kid’s Fishing Days, Cubihatcha Outdoor Education field trips, Women's Pheasant Shoot, and an opening day Kid's Dove hunt, Deer hunts, Quail hunts and Duck hunts. All of these projects were made possible by the generosity and support of last year's members and sponsors. Thank you!

Any individual or outfitter wishing to donate any items (fishing or hunting trip etc.) for banquet can contact Jeff Scott. All contributions are greatly appreciated!

Individual tables can be reserved by purchasing 10 tickets ($500) which will enter you into a special table raffle for a gun.

Woody's members this is a really good banquet to attend as Jeff said the money raised from the banquet helps alot of great programs! I have attend 3 years in a row now and plan on attending this one. Talked with Jeff earlier today he has sold 15 tables so far. This banquet usually sells out. They have alot of silent auction items, live auction items, hunts,trips, guns, knives and hunting gear.
