Hickory Staves

I have 7 hickory staves if anyone wants them. They do have bark on them and they were cut in 2008. They were keep in my garage until yesterday. If no one wants them then I’m gonna cut them up and use them for smoking meat. Just have to many right now. Text me if your interested. 706-2 zero 7- 63 six 8.

Wish I were close to you wouldn't mind one at all...I made a bow out of a hickory limb well over 20 years ago when we lived in SC.. I still have it today it still shoots good and pulls about 40 lbs..

Do they come with instructions? I've done an oak board bow in the garage and that was fun, but the poundage is ridiculously low so little man can also shoot it.

I have several I made in 2008 all still function and shoot very well. I have broken a few over the years though. It can be a hit and miss thing with self bows. I made two out of cedar and some out of hickory. My favorite is made from Dogwood its a goodun.. I made two out of Cocobolo wood never again its tougher than woodpecker lips.. One broke the shorter one I made but the one I still have the long bow out of cocobolo is tough and durable, pulls about 50 lbs...
