How do you guys keep the hogs out of your “deer corn” pile? Impossible i know. I have a thermal and have taken out 2 so far but more keep coming. I cant just stay out there 24/7. Will a fence work, where the deer can still jump in? Anybody tried this?

Hog panel and T Posts from tractor supply. Buy 6 panels and 6 posts to make a circle, and you can build a pen the deer can jump over very easy. Hog problems immediately go away.

Tip- cut top square off each panel to make it shorter. 2 reasons. It makes it easier for young fawns to jump over as well as it makes it much easier for you to step over refilling the feeder or just dumping on the ground If your not using a feeder. Hogs still cant get in. In 10 years of this setup we have never had 1 hog get in. We used to have a serious hog problem and now we hardly ever see a hog.

The hunt club where I have permission to hog hunting does not allow any baiting during deer season just to help keep the hogs away.
When deer season ends and I start baiting it takes a while to get the hogs active on bait again.
Other than building a hog proof enclosure, it is hard to keep them out.

you can also build and use trough feeders. when we hunted on a hog heavy place, we built several. The hogs have an extremely hard time with the troughs. In 2 years we only had 1 pic of a hog eating out of the feeder and he actually jumped up into the trough.
