How old were you when you began shooting center fire cartridges?

I shot my Dad's Hi Standard 9 shot 22 when I was around 6 or 7. He only owned that, a 12 gauge shotgun, and a .35 Marlin 336. I was too small for the 12 gauge, and He is the only one that ever shot that .35 I will have to ask him the story on that gun.

Now he has a .38, 9mm, and a .22 rifle.
