No. However, it did give us an opportunity to enlarge my son's plot & move/enlarge my plot.
The plan is to build him a shooting house & I'm gonna hunt out of a blind.
Gonna have to hurry.

That really sucks. Helene tore up Jack all over the South.

Too bad insurance doesn't cover important hunting equipment like that.

Sorry about what the nasty breeze did. Maybe, at some point, you can brace the legs on your shooting house and leverage it back upright.

Man that sucks. I was worried about the same. I had 4 trees across the roads to clean up but fortunately no damage to stands.

I’ll be heading up to mine in Lauren’s county on Thursday.
My neighbors tell me my property is a mess with a lot of trees down.
I guess I’ll just clean up and hunt when and where I can.

Sorry 4HAND, up in our place in Emanuel we lost a ladder stand, had another stand turned over when the tree next to it was uprooted. The pine another ladder stand was on snapped off about 8 feet above the stand.

Had one feeder buried in limb debris but the feeder was okay.

We probably lost about 60-70% of the trees down in the river bottom. Sad to see. Just trees laying on top of trees.

Same for us. We had 5 of 13 box blinds down in Emmanuel/Jenkins Co. Two we can stand back up as soon as we find a loader. Two we can put back together from pieces and one is history. Lots and lots of hardwoods down in the drains. Pines blocking woods roads but mostly cleared now.

Still feel fortunate though, had several 75 year old pecan and pines that came down miss our cleaning shed, garage and camp house by just inches or feet.
