I’ve walked past this tree for 40 years

This is our 40th year leasing our club in Wilkes County. I have walked past this tree for 40 years. Last week my dad said “I have always wanted to take a photo of that tree.”5B6DED16-CCFB-4C27-8049-C8EA7007349C.jpeg

We find lots of arrow heads, etc. I don’t think the tree is that old.

Neat tree. Nature is capable of some real oddities.

Very cool old tree. Looks like it sprouted on top of a rotten "nurse stump" that eventually rotted away.
