I've been thinking about getting the Dhukr tool. It was featured at ICAST a few months back. It's a play on using the fishing line trick. I fish mostly by myself, and I like the fact that it can be used with one hand, unlike the line method.

Just push it through, and take an angle grinder and cut the pushed through barb off. (don't think I could do it again). That was about 10 yr ago. Ole Gator treble to the inner thigh.

Did the same thing yesterday, yanked it out by using the line method. It's painful to do it that way but I figured the doctor would do the same thing. You can see the bruising and such it caused. Probably infected too, I'm watching it now

It cleared up, thanks for asking, I put a big bottle of alcohol in the boat and updated my first aid kit as well.
