I Finally Did It

Well I finally did it.

After getting down from my stand after sunset, I left all my gear at the base of the tree and went to check some cameras after dark. Walked back to the tree, grabbed my stuff and headed back to the truck.

Just drove about 5 minutes down the road and realized I didn’t put my bow back in the case. Which is probably because my bow is still at the base of the tree .

One time my son & I drove 45 minutes to our lease only to realize we forgot his rifle. I didn't have mine because that was when he was young & we were still sitting together.

L o l we've all been there, looks like something tried to drag it off, it's not at the base of the tree anymore.Where you left it, it's about ten feet away

I've done that with my rifle. Started to hunt the next morning at a different spot, and it's not my back cab. I left a note at the parking spot i was last at with my phone number. The next day a guy called me and said he had my gun.

Great day and great guy!

I left a shotgun at a parking spot(talking on the phone while packing up)….someone was nice enough to give it to Bartow county PD AND left a number at the spot! Recovered!
