I’m passing through Rutledge everytime I go huntin ONF. No problem meeting new folks every year there. Not many deer always but some select weekends it’s on fire with deer action.I try to take on someone new every year and have em ready at the perfect time for their shot at a buck too.

Well, he didn't say what it was he was interested in hunting. If it's deer and money is not an issue, I always tell them to join a (good) club. The learning curve will be cut down greatly . There appear to be some fine clubs on this forum and maybe he can hook up with one near him.
