not sure actually. I have no clue how to tell the difference in a picture. I have never recovered a bear. Shot a large bear a couple years ago with BP and spent 3 days looking for it. I'm excited about this one, not as big as the first one I shot but hoping for different outcome this time. I HATE the thought of meat going to waste, so I'm looking for a redo this time.
any guess on weight?
From the picture, the bear looks to have that "pear" shape of a sow, but it could just be the camera angle. Either way, that's a good-un! Stay after it!

Yep, typically, a sow has a bigger rump than chest with more of a visible neck.
Boars typically have a larger chest and neck.
Hope you stick whatever it is and do some ground checking!
