Not sure - I have only taken them to taxidermy shop. Others have said about the same if done right.

They taste just as good. Some are a little tuffer, but the Instant pot is the great equalizer. If you will take the little extra time and remove the little brown glands in their arm pit.. they taste better. When the males are rutting, usually around now, they stink alot like a buck deer does. Their not as tuff as the red fox squirrels in my opinion.

Yes sir. We have taken three total this year - this one, the earlier red one and I killed another last week that was a mix of silver, brown and had black face and black legs.
