Their FB page states they will open Friday thru Sunday to see how it goes. Until coolers, chairs, etc are allowed on the beaches again, this is as good an option as any for those without boats.

You must be talking about the bait shop at the pier....the pier itself has never been closed.

Nope. It will be there for a good while more. They just finished driving pilings for the debris net. They are currently welding on the lifting points. It's funny that you can fish from the pier but not the beach. Common sense has been very evasive during this time.

As Spock would say, logic dictates that people would be closer together on the pier than the beach....illogical.
