I recently bought an Old Town Sportsman 120 and am wanting to add a fish finder. I do not want to break the bank, preferrably under $300. Does anyone have any recommendations. The kayak does already have a universal transducer mount and a scupper hole for cables. Thanks for any input!

At that price range, I’d probably go with a Lowrance Hook series. Think they have a reveal split shot version of some sort for just over $300.
I had a pro 5x that I liked pretty good. Gave it to my dad for his boat though. Will probably replace it with one of the hook series myself when I get around to making it a priority.

I second the lowrance hook series. I put a hook 4 i think on my kayak, 134$. Great little locator. Color, way points, flasher mode, everything you need.
