Kids spoiled; Im poor.

2 weeks ago my 10 year got an 11pt. Now my 8 year old cashes in on this mature 8. We saw 3 bucks total, 2 of them chasing a doe. We walked a smaller 9pt. This one showed up 30 mins later cruising for does. I don't think we've had him on camera. He seems like a roamer. 190lbs, 114" or so.

It’s the golden age of deer hunting. My kids are growing up in it too. Not sure if it’s the best thing for them, but it’s fun times! They probably wouldn’t believe how slow the deer hunting I grew up in was.

100%. My biggest ever was 128". My kids are already shooting 5+ year old deer pushing 120. Where to go from here? Lol

I feel your pain! The middle boy shot one yesterday for his first buck that I'm going to have mounted. I was hoping he'd say he wanted a skull mount done but he's asked his mama for a shoulder mount to be done and said "I'll use the money I have saved up" I told my wife he's absolutely getting a shoulder mount done for him and I'm going to surprise him with it. He was going to shoot a younger 4 point earlier in the morning that got nervous and left before the bigger buck showed up. I'll just eat ice chip sandwiches to pay his taxidermy bill I reckon.

Most of my deer hunting was 87-91 around middle GA, just seeing a deer was a treat then.
