Looks just like a copper headed water rattling cotton mouth python to me.

Nice one! I have never seen a king snake in my home county, even though they are in surrounding ones. My county has the highest average elevation of any county east of the Rockies though, so I'd say that has something to do with it.

I still see one on occasion but not near as many of them and coachwhips as I used to see.
I have never seen a wild coachwhip, indigo, corn snake, or pine snake.

I saw indigo in AR, must of been 7-8 ft. Big snake, stretched out along a ditch bank.

I've seen a few on my place in Newnan. They usually startle me (I hate snakes) but I leave them be. I have not seen a copperhead or many other snakes for that matter but my neighbors have.
