There are primitive sites on the WMA. I guess the next closest would be Tallulah Falls(10-12 miles from Check Station) or Tugalo(10-12 miles as well)

We took one deer and saw several. Drove up to the top of the Montain at Toccoa where the Army trained for WWII. What a view!!! Very nice and helpful biologists and rangers. Overall we gave it a 10 and plan to go back next year. Thanks for the info.
