you guys already know the pattern. It won't change for a while. Deep brush 20-30 ft. I caught a few as deep as 45ft.

ive simply been testing the available options

with garmin you can choose what fits your needs best. they all have small trade offs.

the gt15 i have in the bilge is

Mid-Band CHIRP Transducer - 85-165kHz, 600W, 8-Pin

the gt52

The 12-pin transducer features high wide band CHIRP traditional sonar (150-240 kHz) and has a power rating of 250 W. The CHIRP DownVü and SideVü (455/800 kHz) elements have a power rating of 500 W each (1,500 W total).

the gt51 is the same except more powerful 2d and different side frequency option for 500+ ft range to each side on sidevu

The CHIRP DownVü/SideVü elements have a power rating of 500W per element (1,500W total) and operating frequencies of 260/455 kHz. The traditional CHIRP sonar has a power rating of 600W and operating frequencies of mid-band CHIRP 80-160 kHz
