It's been a pretty good month when 19 lbs in the box feels like a slow day fishing.

We marked lots and lots of bait, but for some reason weren't catching more fish.

Fish caught on bluebacks and cut shad in 10-20 feet of water. Beautiful evening to be out. Boat traffic not near as wild as Saturday.

Carp chunks make good noodle and trot line bait.

Nice greasy tough meat. Stays on the hook good.?

I prefer to catch them but we buy them at the fish market when we need bait. My last post when I caught 10 in 30 minutes I caught the bigger ones on carp.
