Lanier - Starting to get Good! (Pic Hvy)

After around 27 Humminbird installs the last few months - I've been getting on the water more and more lately. Finally caught up and back to it wide open!

Out with Jay this afternoon from 4-8 for a short trip. We met several months ago when he contacted me to set up his new Helix 9 MEGA on his Lund.

Tough fishing but kept chunking and boated 8 and lost a couple more. We made some adjustments the last hour and ended .up boating 4 with this adjustment. Swimbait, topwater, spybait, drop shot, and fluke all caught fish. Last week - we had a two 20 fish days and one 28 fish day. Not sure why it slowed this week for me but I'm guessing it's because they've moved on out towards their summer homes or suspended out over deeper water.

Always a fun time with Jay - just a good dude. Lets get back out soon Jay and thanks for the business. Hope to see everyone on the water. Here's some pics from today and last week with Curly, Moe, and Larry...or Kevin, Stew, and Earl. LJ

Yep - I've had it a little over a month. I got a dual console to make it a little better ride in rain or cold. Never had a dual console before but so far, I'm happy with it.

Thanks Jay...but we had a slow afternoon! Next time we'll get'em good! Out today and back out again tomorrow...going to fish my summer patterns. I'll let you know how it goes. LJ
