A friendly reminder to all the moral police of one of the rules of this forum, and this is one we don't play with:

Bashing of legal kills and catches.

The bashing of legal kills, whether it be deer, any other big or small game, will not be tolerated. A trophy is in the eyes of the beholder. Posts that harass or belittle anyone and the animal, fish, or bird, and also the legal method of any game taken will be removed and the member will be dealt with accordingly. If you can`t say something nice, it`s best to be silent and move on. This rule will be strictly enforced.

by all means

please explain yourself. I don't see any bashing.

Myself, I am just a rabid "Roll Tide" fan!

So, I am going to just expect that was not for me.

And, I love largemouth bass. I am the president and founder of the fillet and release club. And those will be some nice fillets.

Way to go young man!

Deleted posts-Nothing to do with you, just the usual you shouldn't keep sacred bass thing.

largemouth bass

Here in Georgia, the limit is 10. And if the DNR thought that the limit was too high they would make it 5.

I fish a lake where the bag limit is 10, but the length limit is "0". You can keep a 1" largemouth if you wanted to. The lake has no shortage of largemouth. And, it is full of stripers as well.

I love to eat largemouth. My wife loves to eat largemouth. And right now, while I can catch them and put them in the freezer, it will happen.

I hate it for all them folks you believe that "catch and release" is the only way. Because, it is not.

Roll Tide!

Those big largemouth fillets are delicious blackened, freshwater grouper!!! Spots to me are the freshwater snapper, next best thing anyway, I'll eat them in a heartbeat, and won't think twice about it!!! Looks like the OP has a fine mess of fish!!

Whewww, I thought I had gotten in trouble by saying something about that awful marking on his hat :) :) :)

I usually throw most LMs I catch back, especially in the nasty waters I fish. But I will never throw a spotted bass back in the forward direction, regardless of where it's caught.

Especially if they come out of one of our cold, clear mountain lakes, especially this time of year. A muddy farm pond in Tallahassee in August, not so much. :)
