You gave up a yearly supply of fresh milk, just to eat a steak, once in a while.
Looks great!!! I've never grilled okra. Might have to try it. I can't stand okra slime tho!! If it comes off slimy, it'll get tossed in the can next to my cookers.

Try a handful and pull at different temperatures until you find what you prefer. You can let them go until they are crunchy. I cook mine off heat and crisp over the coals at the end.
