I imagine too much sticky evergreen sap to do anything with. It oozes out when you cut it.

My father in law has a sawmill and he cut some in to 2x4s to build some shelves for his shop. I wouldn't try to make any furniture out of it unless I can get my hands on RoosterTodd's chair plans.....::ke:

I make canes, staffs, etc. out of pine, cherry, oak and other hardwoods. I have a number of Leland Cypress in my yard but am not impressed with the wood as building material. Perhaps, others with different talents and taste may disagree.
