Little Black George Town Flint Point

MISSING RIDGE

Gone But Not Forgotten
Little pont made today-after breaking several -with nothing but percusion-got to learn when to start pressure flaking. Point is 1.6-inches long,0.85 inch wide and 0.2 thick-4.25 width to thickness ratio. the long flute is 0.73 inch. Used pressure flaking to finish this one.

very nice perc work.

Most folks are clueless when you say 'all percussion' but we know the satisfaction levels are very high. :)

Butch, that is a nice replica of a Redstone Paleo.

What in the world do you do that small percussion work with? Just a tiny antler billet I guess

That one was finished with pressure flaking. What he was referring to were the ones he broke doing percussion because he didn't go to pressure soon enough.

Nice one Butch!
