Due to health I had to stop my feeders at the end of last year..We had one heck of a crowd feeding..Love to listen to them when they are close enough to hear.

That is a crazy amount of hummingbirds. For 20 years I have never had more than one on the feeders at a time because the dominate one drives the others off.

When feeding Humming birds you have to be careful. If you provide them with plenty of food, they will have several clutches, because their is no worry about food..It becomes a responcibilty to continue feeding until they Migrate..I have had close to 50-75, I would wager each year..I was going through 10lbs of sugar a week..We love them, but can't continue because of health. I have had the wonder of watching two mate, one time. Not at all what you think it would be, my Bride and I were amazed when we realized what they were doing...
