Our shop / camper building has 15’ ceilings. I want to install a hoist to raise and lower a canoe onto and off of my truck. Who has used a lift storage system that is reliable for my wooden canoe?

Would depend on your canoes specks & attachment options, but I use these from Harbor freight for both of my kayaks.
They say working load is 44lbs. My native is every bit over 70lbs and hasn’t had any issue with holding it. The perception is about 55lbs and there’s no issue there either.
They have worked great for me and I’ve had them for probably 10 years or so. May be time to change the rope out I’m sure, but the functionality has been perfect for my needs.
