Looking for pond/lake lease

I’m looking for a bass pond or lake lease in southeast Georgia. Not opposed to joining a hunting club if there are fishable ponds on the property and the members don’t mind a fish only deal. Have two kids (8 and 10) that I would like to have fish with me occasionally. Would prefer a more family friendly atmosphere if there are other members.

Would appreciate any feedback!

Thanks!

Briefly, but want a little more privacy than a lot of public land around here provides. Thinking I’ll have to buy a boat or land to get what I want. Unfortunately

Would it be cheaper and easier to buy a 16 ft johnboat and take the kids out fishing? Being out in a boat isn't exactly private but no-one really bugs folks or comes and acts weird. Plus you can fire it up and move.

We have always fished in a friends pond and it was awesome. Friend sold her house and land with the pond this spring and I went and bought a boat. I sure miss the pond and the huge bream but we are finding enjoyment in our new venture as well.

There is nothing like private waters. Maybe you can also pursue buying a piece of land with a pond in the future?

Y’all are my people, we must all think the same things when it comes to this stuff! Wife wants to look at land, she’s bigger into investment stuff. That obviously rules out boats, lol!

We are buying (haven't closed yet) a piece of retirement land and it has pond. Fish management can be as complicated as you want it to be. A boat is much easier & cheaper.

Man alive...Even if you buy a bunch of land with five ponds on it, you still need a small simple skiff with a little outboard motor.

There are hundreds of miles of great small creek and river fishin' within a half hour of your house if you live in Glynn County.
